Bruce's New Boule....

Finally Mark acquired his first set of competition boule, through Petanque America and Phillipe's marvelous support of boule players all around America. Thanks Phillipe. And to celebrate we had lovely pre 4th of July afternoon in the Park shaded under the Oaks, and a perfect sunny day with a light breeze, cooling us as finally the weather has been tamed and it felt like late spring. Then returned in the evening, playing along side the Medieval Knights fighting each other in full battle regalia, truly bizarre, not sure if they do that every week but Tuesday seems to be their day of preference....be warned they "reenact" right by the Piste under the oaks and have weapons covered in duct tape. Gotta-lov-it.....
