Directions: Take the L train to the Bedford ave stop (the first stop in Brooklyn) and walk North East along Bedford Ave or the G train to Nassau Ave and walk South West. By car going north on the BQE take the McGuinness Blv exit, go under bridge along McGuinness Blv and turn Left on Driggs Ave until you see the park.

Hi,
I am freelancing for French media outlets, and I'd be interested in
shooting a newspiece on pétanque players in NY.
Marseille is my hometown, and I first noticed pétanque was alive and kicking in NY a few weeks
back in Washington Square Park - that was unexpected, and I was amazed
to see people playing pétanque in the heart of Manhattan on a chilly
November night.
I would like to meet players, get some interviews from
players and club members, and ideally follow training sessions, to some of their hangouts (pub, restaurant... ?), in an
equipment shop if there is one, etc...
Ideally, we would meet sometime this week for a first contact, then
shoot this coming week-end if that's okay for you. Please note this is
intended to be very light, personal and non-intrusive (small camera, no
camera crew...).
